Black Bean Hummus

Overview
Try this delicious variation to the traditional garbanzo bean recipe the next time you want hummus.

Ingredients
2 cans black beans (15 ounces each)
2 tablespoon(s) sesame tahini
2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup(s) fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon(s) cumin
4 scallions, white parts only
1/4 cup(s) chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup(s) water
Steps
1. Place all ingredients in a small food processor or blender and mix until very creamy, add water sparingly.
2. Serve this with apple or pear slices, carrots, cucumber, celery, olives, and salad.
