Carrot Cake Shake

Overview
I use my Braun Juicer (that I've had since 1992) to make the carrot/apple/ginger juice. About 10 carrots equals 1 1/2 cups carrot juice. Use store bought fresh carrot juice if you don't have a juicer at home.
Ingredients
10 carrots, or 1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed carrot juice
1 red apple, cored
1 inch piece ginger root
1/2 cup(s) raw pecans
1/2 cup(s) raw walnuts
1 tablespoon(s) ground flax*
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 tablespoon(s) organic coconut oil
1 handful(s) ice cubes
1 scoop detox approved protein powder (optional)
Steps
1. Juice 10 carrots with the apple and ginger root. If you don't have a juicer, use 1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed carrot juice and add the apple and ginger to the blender.
2. Put all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 1 minute, until the nuts are completely ground up.
3. *If you have flax seed and not the ground up flax, place the seeds in a grinder or blender to blend them into a finer meal.
