Strawberry Ginger Smoothie


  • 1 cup(s) one whole any kind of apple, cored but not peeled

  • 2-inchpiece of ginger root, peeled

  • 1 cup(s) fresh or frozen organic strawberries

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice (fresh if you have it)

  • 1/4 cup(s) almonds

  • 1 cup(s) unsweetened almond or coconut milk

  • 1 cup spinach, rinsed

  • 1 scoop detox or protein powder (optional)

  • 1 handful ice


1. If you are juicing your own apples, juice about 2 apples for 1 cup juice. Buy organic apples, or apple juice for this recipe.

2. Add everything to a high-speed blender for 1 minute. Makes one large or 2 small portions. Enjoy!
