Westminster Hills Dog Park

Darby's Favorite Reasons to Love This Hike:

  1. This suburban off leash dog park is 420 acres of trails and mostly fenced in. Easily accesible from Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, Boulder, Northglenn, Thorton, etc.

  2. Views of the mountains of Golden, Boulder, and beyond. Colorado Hills Open Space also neighbors the park to the west, and views of Standley Lake to the south.

  3. Wildflowers everywhere! Only a few trees to block the sun; it's best to visit when it's not too sunny or windy. Great to visit in the winter, fall, and springtime.

  4. Dog drinking fountain- to quench our thirst from running around, and sometimes there is a doggy pool, depending on the season.
