Cauliflower and Broccoli Mash

Quick side dish that can substitute for mashed potatoes or boring steamed veggies. Phase One-Repair

Cauliflower and Broccoli Mash


  • 3 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil

  • 1 head cauliflower, chopped

  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped

  • 1 dash(es) sea salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 dash(es) lemon juice to taste


1. In a medium to large pot, add the oil, cauliflower and broccoli. Cover and cook for 8 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

2. Add 3/4 cup water, cover and cook uncovered for another 5 minutes and the water has mostly evaporated.  Take off burner to cool. Using a hand potato masher, or an inversion blender, mix the vegetables together well.

3. Add lemon juice ans salt and peper to taste and serve. Enjoy!
